Our friends Gina and Artie Lekstutis continue to come weekly to the PCC and bring all kinds of great food for the students and us. This week brother George was with them for a visit from the mainland.
Gina's beautiful flowers have helped to spruce up our ukulele display.
My friend John Farrell who knows the "other" Bruce Harker made me this cool lei from coral and kukui nut shells. I saw his with a piece of coral shaped in a "J" so he gave it to me. J for Jesus, John and Joan he says. He calls me big J.

They have a great ranch that does country swing and line dancing. We went with a group of missionaries and had a great night. It's called Gunstock Ranch and couple of the BYUH students teach the dances.
This is my friend Palapala who works at the Settlement and who is also a hula dancer. She was picked to go to Vegas for a huge competition where they place FIRST. She has been working so hard and is so passionate about hula and has been doing hula her whole life. She is a beauty!!!!

This is Hella's final quilt that she completed today. She is just about to finish her 23 month mission and is going home just after me. She is such a perfectionist I feel kinda sorry for whoever comes next!!
Brent and Jacque Lee were honored at the munch and mingle because they are leaving next.
Roomies gourmet breakfast together just for fun. Pancakes by Sheri whipped cream, bacon, fruit and the works. We have a great time and really good conversations.
Margaret is going next so we had a big going away dinner for her at the Barefoot Beach in Haleiwa. It was so fun and everyone will miss her. Beautiful venue and beautiful sunset.
