May is LEI DAY and MOTHER'S DAY

These are the beautiful MOTHERS who are roommates at the famous TURTLE HOUSE at the McKay building on mother's day just outside of church. We have a lot of fun together and I feel so blessed to be here with these amazing and strong women who are alike in some ways but very different in so many ways . Together we create TEAMWORK, which makes the DREAM WORK. Thank you ladies for the sweet memories that we are creating together here in Laie working at the Polynesian Cultural Center.

The PCC celebrates LEI DAY by having a contest for people who love to create LEIS. These were the ones that were displayed at the PCC. All very different and so creative.

The Samoa Devotional in May was both inspirational and beautiful . I love these amazing people who are so strong both physically and spiritually and sacrifice to be here away from home and family to get an education and are committed to the gospel. They really are the HAPPY PEOPLE who always know that things will work out, which is what I believe too. Trusting in God is always a good idea!!!

Kap is one of my favorite Samoans. He is an artist and started out at the PCC many years ago as a student performer. He starts out most days, he says with a temple session, then comes to work at his Kap Art Gallery and is a big part of the SAMOAN village show and program. He is also an actor and is in the new live action MOANA that will come out in 2026. He is so friendly, fun and kind and a great ambassador for the church and PCC.

This is at a sunset party that we had at the district leaders house . What a beautiful view.
