Beautiful Sunsets are EVERYWHERE

Image
Our friends Gina and Artie Lekstutis continue to come weekly to the PCC and bring all kinds of great food for the students and us. This week brother George was with them for a visit from the mainland.                       Gina's beautiful flowers have helped to spruce up our ukulele display. My friend John Farrell who knows the "other" Bruce Harker made me this cool lei from coral and kukui nut shells. I saw his with a piece of coral shaped in a "J" so he gave it to me. J for Jesus, John and Joan he says.  He calls me big J. Awesome pictures that John took there are so many beautiful spots here its hard to know where to stop.                                                  John took this one...so beautiful !!

We had a great adventure courtesy of Ihilani and her son and daughter in law Keo and Shannon, who took us on a barge to the sandbar in Kaneohe Bay where  the water was shallow and beautiful. Her son is in the navy and is stationed at Pearl Harbor here so he has access a lot of military things. Terry and Nancy Harris, Joan, David and Gina Wayt, Keo and Shannon Bailey, Ihilani Bailey, Marrae Brunner and Margaret Penfield   One of the barges set up a volleyball net and they played volleyball in the water. It's only about 3 feet deep. They also snorkelled and swam. the water was very warm.                                                                        Ihilani and Joan                                     ...
